Wowpanion collects as little as it can. Here is all of it.
No account
There is no account, no sign-in and no email.
No tracking
There are no analytics, no ads and no tracking. We don’t sell or share anything about you.
On your device
Your preferences (region, game, range and pinned realms) and saved copies of data stay on your device, in the app’s shared container so the widgets can read them. Settings → Clear saved data removes the saved copies.
Price alerts
If you set a price alert, Wowpanion’s server stores the alert (region, game, direction and amount) with a random install ID the app makes for itself, and, if you allow notifications, your device’s push token so Apple can deliver the alert. None of it is linked to a name, email or account. Deleting an alert removes it from the server.
Our server
Prices, realm status, news and blue posts come from Wowpanion’s own server, which runs on Cloudflare. Like any web request, it sees your IP address. We don’t keep it, but Cloudflare keeps request logs for a few days to run the service.
Wowhead, Icy Veins and Blizzard
Some things load straight from their sites, so they see your IP address too: news images come from Wowhead or Icy Veins, and images in a blue post come from Blizzard’s forums. Articles and full threads open on those sites, under their own privacy policies.
This website
This site has no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare, which hosts it, sees your IP address like any web request.
